What Your Child Will Learn
Confidence & Self Belief
Kids earn their confidence through small wins on the mat—trying new skills, overcoming challenges, and seeing their own progress week after week.
Fundamental Martial Arts Skills
Your child will learn age-appropriate Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling, and Muay Thai basics—stance, movement, balance, safe falling, and simple escapes and combinations.
Teamwork & Leadership
As kids grow, they learn how to encourage partners, demonstrate techniques, and model good behavior for newer students.
Focus & Discipline
We use simple routines, clear expectations, and short, focused drills to help kids build better listening, self-control, and follow-through.
Respect & Responsibility
From bowing on and off the mats to helping partners, kids learn to respect themselves, their coaches, and others—in and out of class.
What to Expect in Class
We keep classes upbeat, organized, and age-appropriate so your child feels safe, successful, and excited to come back.
Warm-Up
Classes start with dynamic warm-ups and movement that get kids engaged, and ready to learn.
Partner Work with Safety First
Kids practice with partners under close supervision, with clear rules about control, safety, and respecting each other’s space.
Skill-Building Drills
Short, focused drills teach key martial arts skills, balance, coordination, and body awareness at your child’s level.
Structure, Rules & Positive Coaching
We keep a consistent class routine and simple rules kids can understand, reinforced with positive feedback and clear consequences.
Age Groups & Levels
Our kids classes are typically grouped by age and experience—such as ages 6–8 and 9–12—so your child trains with other kids who are at a similar stage physically and emotionally. As they grow, they can move into more advanced groups at a pace that feels right for them.

Frequently Asked Questions
What ages do you accept?
Our core kids classes are designed for ages 6–12. If your child is just outside this range, contact us and we’ll help you find the best fit based on their maturity and experience.
Does my child need experience?
No experience is needed. Most kids start as complete beginners, and our coaches are very comfortable helping new students feel welcome and included from day one.
How do you handle shy or anxious kids?
We meet each child where they are. Shy students are never forced into the spotlight. We start with simple participation, pair them with kind partners, and build their comfort and confidence gradually.
What if my child has a lot of energy?
Our classes are a great outlet for high-energy kids. We use movement, games, and clear expectations to help them channel that energy into skill-building instead of disruption.
How do you handle bullying or rough behavior?
We do not tolerate bullying. If a child is too rough, coaches step in immediately to correct the behavior, provide clear coaching, and, if needed, remove them from drills. Kids are taught that martial arts are for protection and confidence—not for hurting others.
Can parents watch class?
Yes. Parents are welcome to observe and see how we run class, communicate with kids, and maintain a safe, respectful environment.
